Junior Fragrance Design Manager Africa


  • Conducting market analyses of the African market and build a deep understanding of the existing market products and the relevant brands and clients.
    • First focus will be West Africa, second North Africa, third East and South Afric
  • Continuous identification and closing of existing gaps in current fragrance portfolio in regards to African markets
  • Evaluation of customer requests and briefings considering price, regulatory and olfactive guidelines
  • Coordination of product development in close cooperation with perfumers, marketing and sales
  • Continuous development and maintenance of the existing fragrance portfolio for fragrances, relevant in African market


  • 2-3 years of prior experience in the fragrance development field (Completion of training at ISIPCA, at Ecole Supérieure du Parfum or at a comparable institution is a plus)
  • Passion for fragrances
  • Interest in new fragrance trends as well as in the product segments mentioned above
  • Excellent olfactory skills
  •  Fluency in English and French, basic knowledge of German (or any other language) is a plus
  •  Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements
  •  Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel and strong interest in the African continent
  • Good assertiveness and judgment (a maker personality), positive attitude and the ability to work with employees at all levels in the organization
  • An independent, well-structured and proactive approach
  • A high ability to work in a team, flexible, organized self-starter, able to work under pressure to meet short timelines
